Bird ID is not my strongest point, so please feel free tocorrect me if my ID is incorrect. If I am correct, then I think this is a female. Guess this is a big jump from the Tawny

I think I'd concur on that Steve, but I'm perhaps as 'shaky' as you on the small bird id's
Very sharp and plenty of detail
Lighting was a bit 'harsh' so I think you've done an admiral job goodly squire
MkII - thought the III was now a bionic implant Steve!
I thought it might be David, but I have learnt, never to assume
No control over the perch John, as I think it might be described as 'fixtures & fittings'
Ah, Mr Courtenay, yes its almost 9 months old now Dave, never really got round to sorting the images out until now. Thanks all for looking.
Looks like you & madwun had a cracking time, will drop you a PM

This was 'pre' MKIII. Shame I was a tad too low to get the 'foot' in, but that's life
Will post another smaller bird tomorrow, just to test your ID (african), so start swatting up.

Very nice image and the bird is a female 'Black Redstart'
