Moderator's Musings

I'm still licking my wounds after getting thoroughly thrashed by the plethora of spectacular images this past week. We had another similar week in January and it looks like more of the same is going to be the rule on the finest Flora forum on the planet. The leader of this stellar display was Jeff Mitchell's Iris. A marvelous presentation in every respect, this is just the latest in a long line of exceptional images posted by Jeff this year. Another guy who has really elevated his work is David W Kelly who had three fine images this week in Flora and the EP in Photo Art. Other outstanding images this week were posted by Pam Colander, Ian Wolfenden, Larry Lynch, Mary Smith, Ned Fenimore, David Cobb, Amy Hopp, Wayne Rhodus, Angela Classen, Giuseppe Guadagno and a fantastic B&W by Alan Bryant. Congrats and thanks to all who are posting and commenting. It just keeps getting better and better.>=))>

Boy, I'm glad I wasn't in the mix this week. Congratulations to Jeff Mitchell and all the others mentioned, and several who were not. Just a great collection of stellar photography.

Bill, thank you for this honor, amongst all the quality from Flora again this week, to have you choose mine is very humbling.
