Geneva / Switzerland Photo Opportunities in March

I will be in Geneva, Switzerland on business for one week in March and then I will have two full days on my own for photography. I am primarily interested in Landscape photography for this trip, however, old, quaint, historic towns would be a desire as well. Any suggestions for a weekend itinerary to maximize my photo opportunities without too much travel would be much appreciated!!

Here is my basic schedule...

Fri - I would be available to travel by train or car Friday afternoon.
Sat - All day to shoot
Sun - Morning to shoot and then I would need to get back to Geneva on this day as I depart the following morning.
Mon - My plane will leave this morning.

I am not sure that Geneva will offer enough shooting opportunities for me to spend the whole weekend in Geneva, but I could be misinformed. I was thinking I could devote maybe 1/2 day to Old Town Geneva or something like that? Many people have mentioned the fountain, but to be honest, the images I have seen of the fountain don't excite me too much.

I have looked at Lucerne, and I have read a bit about Mont Blanc. Also, I am aware that there is a peak in France, but I don't really know much about these places or really where the best photographic opportunities would be for me based on my schedule and the time of year.

Thanks for any input anyone can provide!!

Regards,
Patrick Cox

I can confirm that Annecy is beautiful with old twisted wooden buildings and a small rivier running through it, it is known as a little Venice, there is also the bit lake too.

Dave,
Can you tell me where the best location is to shoot the Chillon Castle, with the mountains in the background?

Thanks for the other information. I will look into Annecy.
