Well done Gary, superb stuff......I was wondering how long it would take before you posted one!

Keep `em coming!

It must be real secret because I'm not even getting a picture!

What county or region of Britain are they in?

There were 5 in a field at Shingle Street, Suffolk last year. But seems only 1 this year unless someone knows better.

Well captured Gary,

I too was there and very pleased with the results. I have posted on another forum and gave the same answer as you when asked for the location

I am not asking for the location I am asking to see the image.
Please dont tar everybody with the same brush and please dont try to be holyierr than now as it doesnt suit you. If you are directing a comment at someone have the decency to use there name.

To Major Gilbert,

If my response does not concern you then why make a comment  What makes you think I am targeting my response solely at you? There are two other people who asked about a location of his image. I don't know what you mean by holyierr?

Looks good to me, although i might be tempted to crop out the bit of vegetation at the bottom of the frame.

Now-now boys , calm down

Image invisible in Firefox, IE and Opera.

Locations should not be asked for on open forum - imho.

I oncur on location issue, the main Berkshire downs SEO roost site is now plagued by day tripping listers plus local dog walkers, the owls get little respite as people wander through their roosting tussock grass location oblivious to the energy wasting damage they do by constantly flushing them

Great shot,of a difficult bird to get close to,well done, with regard to the location issue, most bird sites have a warning on them at the moment about not giving exact locations as the birds are about to nest, and unless the photographer wants to give a location which IMHO would be very stupid, I dont think the question should ever be asked, only my thoughts......

Great shot but i would consider cloning out the branches at the bottom or including more of them.
Species that is very high on my wishlist!

Greetings,
