I went to Garden of the Gods on Monday for sunrise but it was less than stellar with mostly clear skies and lots of WIND. The conditions gave me a chance to get a few different types of shots though. I also went up Rampart Range Road to get some shots of Pikes with the snow blowing off the peak, but I'm not sure how those are going to turn out. I might post something from that trip later this week after I have the film developed.
After all of that my best photo of the day was probably this one which I took hours later during what turned out to be a stunning sunset from the deck of my apartment in Castle Rock.

Josh,
Glad to see this though you should have stay down in the Springs. From my view of the sky (somewhat limited since I live in a canyon), I'd say you captured the color pretty well.
I was driving back from NM Monday afternoon and said to my wife, "its gonna be a killer sunset". We made it home before sunset and I thought about carting my camera back out, but after driving all day just couldn't get the energy to do it. Looked out the windows a little later and sure enough, brilliant.
