Went out to photograph some eagles today and took a lot of pictures. Weather was about 10 degrees and my camera was acting a little funny off and on. Now that I am home I have connected it to my computer and two of the folders have nothing in them and the other comes up as corrupt. I put the card back in my camera and most of my images are still on the card. What is going on and how do I fix it? Thank you.

Give this one a try. If it works, it's probably worth the license fee:

Thanks Guy. you're the closest thing to a hero I have ever had. Everything seems to be working out great.

I know this won't help this time for just as a note, the Kingston Ultimate CF cards come with media recovery software. Thankfully I've never had to use it, but nice to have anyway.

Not sure if the weather was an issue, I had a similar situation in Utah in mild weather several years back. I used a recovery program called PC Inspector Smart Recovery and recovered all the photo files. Smart Recovery recovers the photo files on the chip. This has been a free program from Convar, which is a commercial Germany hard driver recovery concern. The program is free for consumer use, Convar also has an excellent hard drive recovery in case you accidentally formatted a hard drive, that application is also free for the consumer. I have used both applications and highly recommend them; if Convar ever starts charging for either apps it will be worth the money.
