Actually had clear skies tonight after snowing all day today. Caught 3 images of the eclipse, and thought it'd be best to make a montage since 70-200mm is my longest lens. I suppose the NW forum isn't the exact place to post this, but if it's raining out there at least you can have a glimpse.

Excellent, Paul! We had a surprisingly clear day in Portland today, so were able to see the eclipse, too (and you're right, that's a rare occurrence here!). Here's my point-and-shoot version, albeit mounted on a tripod in the front yard. Fun to watch!

This is a great shot but I like the one at Regional: CSNP

hmmm, a bit grainy here Tom...but it was a great show and surely unexpected.

Yes, I think I cropped it a bit close for it to hold up. This was taken with my new 18x "super zoom" point and shoot camera, set on auto-everything. I did have to set it on a tripod to simply keep the lens on the moon long enough for the auto settings to fix on the subject!

Love the composite, Paul. Great exposure.

Thanks Craig! And, you answered the question I was wondering, regarding the visible planet & stars.
