Well one of you was close.

Taken in the Kalahari last November.

I have seen few pictires of this behavior and to be honest I would of been tempted to enter it into the Animal Behaviour section of the Wildlife Photograher of the Year Comp, if it was a better image, a bit to side on for me.

Comments welcome

Hi Ian,

Like the series, and I can honestly say, that is NOT what I expected to happen next! Could make the good basis for a magazine article.

 Err... I can imagine Rossie Cox's face now when she comes to explain this to the press  Super behaviour shot though. Rarely seen. A show of dominance on the part of the 'upper' brother. Just a pity that you weren't on the light side of the scene. :toast: :toast:

Thanks for the comments. The next dey we saw a male and female, infact we did not see any Lions on the trip that were not.... well 'at it'. The Male and female were the most exhusted, miserable looking animals I think I have ever seen, then again once every 15min for 2 days would have anyone exhusted!!

All the best

Ian
