Just a quick post to say thanks to those who offered their advice on planning for the exhibition that I'm running next week.
There are 9 images in total all of which have been professionally framed. It has been hard work organising it - I have posters up around town, delivered hundreds of 6x4" glossy prints of the poster around the area, I managed to get it plugged quite prominently in the Yorkshire Post and hopefully it will be in the local newspaper tomorrow too. With a bit of luck I might break even - if not I think it might be my first and last exhibition :-)
If anyone is interested in viewing the exhibition I've knocked up an online version as I have a lot of regular visitors to my main website that I'm hoping might be interested - www.lightanddarkness.co.uk.
Thanks
Tristan

Hi Tristan,
Where have you been As I have said in the past I am a great fan of your work, your exhibition looks stunning and I wish you great success with it.
To comply with the rule 11 - commercial rules of the forum - please confirm that there is no enterance fee for the exhibition and this is not a commercial exhibition ( other than you offering prints for sale at the event).
Providing this is the case, and the fact that you are a member, the moderators have no issues with this post and the best of luck, for you have some fine images.
Well done Tristan... Oh how I wish it had been this week, I have just returned to the south from York and would have loved to have seen the exhibition in person....
Thanks for the encouragement everyone - Tom: It is only a selection of 9 images in a stairwell at the local library. There is most certainly no entrance fee, I have paid for everything myself so the images have to be for sale but I'll be very lucky if I can cover the cost of the framing alone so I wouldn't exactly call it a commercial exhibition.
I wanted to wish you the best for the exhibition, I know it takes a lot of work to get everything ready and hope you have the success that you deserve,
Jonathan
