Cascade Sunrise
From Whidbey Island after heavy January snowfall.
Pano stitched from 3 images with Autopano Pro.

I didn't use a GND, and not sure it would have improved the image.

Nikon D40x
1/20s f/5.0 at 110.0mm iso100
initially processed 3 images in Lightroom, then stitched with AP Pro

Nice, Craig! The large version is awesome! This East-sider is guessing the two major peaks from the L are Whitehorse and Three Brothers. That right?

Correct, Marc. And on the right - Pilchuck

Yeah, nice! The larger version doesn't have any halo on the tops of the mountains that this smaller version does.

I'm loving this one Craig. For several years now I've gone with a sophomore biology class to Rosario Beach for a 3-day field trip. (I help with the bird life while the teacher does the marine life.) Each evening the students build a nice fire on the beach and we watch the sun set, sometimes with a clear shot of the Olympics in the distance. This photo reminds me of that view a lot, and you caught a fantastic sky to complement the mountains.

Thank you Darren for the high praise. I appreciate the feedback, and might be inspired enough to post it in ESS.
