Taken this morning in my garden, I had placed a reflector at the bace of the perch

Lovely shot. The reflector has worked a treat. :toast:

A nicely caught shot, well lit too. I've also thought about using reflectors as I have a real light problem in my garden at present - did the reflector seem to deter the birds at all?

Hi Matt

The reflector didnt seem to bother the Great Tits, Blue Tits and Nuthatch.... though I did notice that the Greenfinches took a little longer to get used to it... It was quiet funny too as at one point my dog decided he liked it and ran off down the garden with it

Great shot. I sometimes use a reflector and it seems to work better than a flash. A flash really scare the birds off and they get used to a reflector very easy.

Well done.

Looks stunning good for this ISO and the light is just about perfect. Will bear in mind the reflector idea in future.

Nice frozen action Jaqui :toast:

If you want to try with flash you'll have to switch the guns to manual, this stops the pre-stobing which I find is what really disturbs the birds.

Now that one is sharp Jacqui you nailed it this time and good technic with the reflector idea.

Very well captured, and the fill from the reflector really helps it pop.

Tremendous image Jacqui. I don't see anybody else doing this as well as you are at the moment.
