Yellow-rumped Warbler
The recent Ridgefield photos are inspirational, so here's another one from there taken in 2005. This is a digiscoped photo that is also stitched (something rare for me).

These Yellow-rumped Warblers are hard to follow when digiscoping at such high magnification. (I use an inexpensive BB gun sight mounted on my scope to help find the bird in the camera, but it's still a challenge with very active birds.) I caught the bird in this pose against the left-hand side of the frame. I much prefer to leave room in front of the bird to emphasize the potential activity, so I joined it with another photo to add more branch to that side.

Yes, you sure did get a really nice image of these common warblers. I couldn't even tell that you stitched this photo and the exposure and detail is top notch.

Well done!

very nice John. I'm jealous you live so close to Ridgefield.
I am as close to Nisqually, but Ridgefield seems to have a lot more diversity. Happy to trade over 10,000 canada goosies for some diversity...
