Brothers, any comments!
Message from the Lion, 'any comments about the behaviour of me and my friend can be addresses to, these teath, at least 2m from your car, somewhere in the Khalahari', thanks.

Any comments on the pictures can be made in relative safety

What do you think to the series as a whole and are they of a quality were I can try to do something with them, Stock library, magazine artical etc.

These images were taken on the second to last day in South Afica and we were starting to worry as they were the first we had seen. A wonderful experience but not the behaviour we had expected.

Anyway please let me know what you think and be honest.

All the best

I swear i'm not joking.

I dont know how they got there ?.

Anyone els see them ?.

Yes, I see them too. Looks like dithering from being saved out as a gif file with just 256 colours. Nice shot.

Thanks for pointing this out and also letting me know where the problem came from, I have redone the 'save for web' bit using a JPEG insted of GIF, hopefully no pink bits.

Alan sorry for doubting, I have an old crappy monitor and given this series I thought it was ripe for a joke.

All the best

Ian

Hi Ian,

As I'll probably never venture that side of the World (never say never - I know, but it is unlikely) I think this series is great!

Well, for what it's worth Ian, and tech issues aside, I've genuinely enjoyed viewing the series :toast:

Photographing Kalahari lions is something I'd really enjoy doing as they have a bit of a hard life as I recall, so they are just that bit 'special'.

You'd better stop now or I'll get jealous   :toast: :wavey:

What do you call a guy with a bite like that? 'Sir' springs to mind. Another cracker.

Repost sorted it out fine Ian. Do find it difficult to relate to one of these as I have never had the chance to do any but looks just fine to me. :toast:

Thanks for the comments. This was my second trip to south africa and an amaizing experience. I bought my gear just before this trip as my photo's from the first one left me Gutted, absolute rubbish.

If you do get a chance to go contact me and I will let you know some of the best places.

Andy

These Khalahai Lions have quite an easy life, they sit by the waterholes and wait for thirsty animals, Most of the good drinking spots look like a blood bath has happened recently.

Know you I go back or buy a big lens and try to get some of the Local wildlife?

Thanks

Ian Hay
