Ptarmigan
Hi,

Next in the processing queue is the object of my trip, the Ptarmigan. We spotted one a long way off which we tried to stalk but it was off before we got within 50 yards. Then later on in the day a male played ball just before the weather closed in.

Techs:

D2X, 200-400MM, 1.4TC, 1000th at F5.6,

C and C welcome.

Regards Chris.

Excellent Chris. Like the low angle diffusing the FG & BG. A little tweaking on the processing to pick the whites up and you're there :toast: :toast:

Hello Chris

Great shot Mate I have problems with whites as you know so I think you could tweak this no probs. Glad you had a good trip.

Hi Chris

Nice image the feeling of cold is tremendous. However, a slight warm-up would help the whites they look grey blue on y monitor.

Very nice and full of atmosphere. I like the foreground as a result of the low angle very much.
