AS per usual taken from the car.
Squeaked him up and held his attention for a few seconds.
Those few seconds were brilliant for what is one of my favourite mammals.
Mr hyperactive himself. Pound for pound a real macho beast.

Fantastic! I so rarely get the opportunity to see these, they are so elusive. Good job :toast:

It's this type of field craft and knowledge that is vanishing from wildlife photography. The "squeak" has produced an excellent image. I love these wee tenacious critters

One of my favourite 'wee' animals too. Excellent field craft technique and photography. So rarely photographed well in the wild. Great stuff! :toast: :toast:

Brilliant Major. Not just a shot of an incredibly difficult subject to get but also a delightful composition as well. Cracking!

Well caught Major, I got a back of a head of its larger relative this weekend, wasn't quick enough.
Were you waiting for Hare's? Need to try out this car hide business.

Hi Major,

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Love the way he's looking straight at you - the expression, the catchlight in his eye. Nice!
