As the others have said, that is a sweet slice of sky.

James, this is some of your best work! That third shot on your site of Humboldt and Crestone Pk. is to die for.

Beautiful! Wish I was there. You might consider darkening the immediate foreground just slightly.

Great colors! #3 on your site is my favorite. It has been about six years since I have been to the Crestones. What a beautiful area, and where the hell did the time go?!?

Yes, this is some of your best stuff. 2, 3, & 5 are very nice.

Thanks Guys, well with the renewed desire to get out and make photographs of something that isn't painted or dressed in a military fashion and with a NEW 12.3Mp Digital System and Optically Stabilized lens, and A Hint From Todd through Dereck where to go, i couldn't go wrong. Well I could, but it was less difficult to go right!

15 repliesThanks to both Todd and Derek for the insight to this location. I went exploring for a few other spots near here and will be back at other times to work the others I found.
This is one spot that seems endless in my mind.
I really like how you put a little more foreground snow in the shots. Love the windmill shot also.
