Hiya. Thank you all for the very kind comments on the last hare shot. This is the same hare moments earlier. I know its out of sequence, but this is now one of my favourite hare photographs. I love the dawn sunlight, green fields and melting frost/dew drops on the blades of grass. I was very lucky in that I found a raised field full of hares, close to road, near an open gate, so I could get this eye-level view and diffusion.

Camera Model: Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II

Exposure mode: Av
Metering mode: Evaluative

very nice as you say, the frosty blue furrows and the dew, make this shot a cut above the average

Beautiful Image Elliott. The cool blue and greens really set it off IMO.

I like it, but its doesn't quite have the same appeal as the previous image. I tighter top and R crop may help.

Doing Hares myself this year as I have been told about a cracking location, I am looking forward to spending the next eight weeks with them have fun yourself. Great shot by the way
