Sol Duc Falls
A wider view of the image that Curtis posted.

looks slightly precarious. Good to see something other than those scenes you've been workin...even if it is a water shot :wavey:

What is that supposed to mean?

Hey Jim, the perspective here seems higher than I remember the trail being. Were you on top of a stump when you took this? I remember a fair-sized stump located just about this spot...

Rick, you sound waterlogged

I think Rick meant he's surprised to see you shooting water. This shot is definitely a classic. Nice perspective here.

Exactly. I personally get a little tired of seeing the same thing posted, especially when it comes from one person. Not to take away from anyone's photography if it is what you enjoy. I was just a little pleased to see something different from you...and was suprised to see a post of water. I like to see people experimenting with different avenues and not get stuck in a seemingly rut.

Nice perspective, Jim. The highlights on the left hand stream look blown to me. Otherwise, a pleasing image.

Curtis: No, this was from the bridge with my tall tripod.

Rick: Sorry to be the one person that makes you so tired of seeing.

I like it, Jim - but it seems like it's a bit under-saturated on the yellows. I'm basing that on the leaves in the foreground. Very nice scene - and I never get tired of waterfalls!

Don't worry Jim. Rick and a few others I am sure are sick of seeing my water shots......

This is one waterfall I would love to shoot.......I think you captured the flow perfectly

Looks a lot better than the ones I took last summer. Gotta get back out there for another try at this great classic. Nice shot, Jim.
