Hey Jim - I sent this Saturday to the "editor" address, and I'm not sure if you saw it.
I've found a glitch in the photo critique forums that I thought you might want to know about. It's a little odd, but here's how I can make it happen (and it's repeatable).
1) Open any of the critique forums and log in
2) Click on any of the thumbnails
3) Right click the "My Photos" link and select "Open in New Tab"
4) Click the "Next Photo" link in the original critique tab
5) It won't go to the next photo, and will instead go to "My Photos", so both tabs will be showing "My Photos"
This seems to happen regardless of browser (I tried both Netscape 9 and Internet Explorer 7) on Windows XP Pro.
Thanks...

Little update Jim - this happens anytime I open any other set of pictures or forum in a new tab. When I then his "Next Photo" in the original tab, I'm then moving along in the forum I opened in the new tab, even though I'm in the old tab. Hope this makes sense.
Just spent 20 minutes wondering why all the images today seemed to be in ES&S (not that that's a bad thing!!)

David,
Just thought I would say that I can confirm this behavior. And it's not just "open in a new tab," it also happens when you select "open in a new window." What's weird is that you've opened a new browser or tab, but the problem resides in the original window.
Must be a coding issue....

Lon - I'm guessing that it's something with cookies tracking where you are on the site. Hopefully it can be fixed, but depending on the code, it might be that, much like life, you aren't allowed to be in two places at once.

Correct - the site is set up to open one index per browser session at a time.

I've been seeing some really odd behavior even without opening any new tabs of windows. I haven't been able to figure out how to reliably reproduce the issue though.
Sometimes I'll end up with an empty page when I try to go to a regional forum. Once this morning I tried to go from this forum to PNWNP via the drop-down list in the upper right and I got the PNWNP header, but I was still in this forum.
I've been getting this odd behavior for several days, but I haven't reported it because I can't nail down how to reproduce it.
