Congratulations to our own Wayne Rhodus for winning first place in the National Wildlife Federation Photo Contest! There were over 800 entries, so that's quite an honor. I think one of the prizes, besides being published, is a FREE PASS to the national parks for a year. So where are we going in the Fall, ol' buddy?
Great shot!

Congrats, Wayne!!! For those of us not "in the know" could you include a link to your winning shot, or post it here for us to enjoy (and envy)?

Thank you Bill ... and everyone for the comments, they are greatly appreciated.
This was the inaugural photo contest for the National Wildlife Federation's "Our Public Lands" site. The site may be found at http://www.ourpubliclands.org. I am certainly honored that my snapshot "Sprague Lake in Fall" edged out the competition.
The OPL site focuses primarily on issues and legislation in the western states of MT, WY, CO & NM and is a resource for anglers, hunters and people who use and enjoy the public lands in general.
Many thanks to all of you who helped with your support and vote!
