New member

I am new to this site and would like to introduce myself. My name is Johan Geyser and I live near to Johannesburg, South Africa. Although I have always had a camera, it is only now that I have a digital camera that I have really become interested. At the same time, I have also taken an interest in birds and birding. One could say that I am new to both photography and birds! I have been visiting this site for a few months now and have learned a lot about nature photography through the amazing photos and the comments. Once I am back in SA (I´m in Angola presently), I will experiment more with my camera/lens combination, take more bird photos and hopefully get a shot that could be posted.
Regards.

Welcome to NPN, Johan. Great to see you here!

Welcome to NPN, Johan! Looking forward to seeing your work.

Welcome Johan! I will be watching for your images.

Hi Johan, I too am a new member so welcome from one newbie to another. It is very nice to have a member from that area of the world. I really look forward to seeing some of your photography.
Just remember don't be shy. This is a wonderful place to learn and grow!

Hi Johan and everybody :wavey,

I'm also a newbie. I have only taken pictures for fun, until about a year and a half ago that i took a real interest in it. I really love nature and that's what inspires me the most for photography. I have, however, a very sucky camera and am looking for a change. I hope I get to learn from all of the experienced (and unexperienced) people here :)
