The Sharin' o' the Green
No, not that kind of green. The color green. Every year, about this time, I get anxious to see some green. Bright spring green, deep forest green, it doesn't matter as long as it's green. Anybody got any green they can share?

This shot is the creek below West Tennessee Lakes. It was a little too early for wildflowers but the greens were nice.

Here is one from above Mohawk Lake that features some nice green.

Well, I'm pretty sure I've never shown this shot and its certainly green.

I'm missing the green and the warm as well. I'm looking forward to May, June and July.

I hope winter keeps coming full blast, but I admit I've been starting to think about summer backpacking more and more! Here's one from last summer in the Elk Range.

Here's some greenery from Yankee Boy last summer. Although I've got a couple more ski outings left in me this year, I am definitely getting spring fever. Especially with a high near 50 today!

This topic is better than green beer! Here is some green corn lily last summer near Crested Butte.

What the heck, here's another green photo. An abstract (with fish in it) at Hanging Lake.

I don't have any photo's of Colorado wildflowers yet . So how about the Minnesota State Flower The Pink and White Lady's Slipper. The Pink and White Lady's Slipper is one of Minnesota's rarest wildflowers. This is one from my garden.

Laurie: That is one beautiful flower, we have Yellow Lady's Slipper in secluded spots along the Front Range, but they are not as eye-catching as yours.

Mark: Thanks for the shot of green, it's kind of ironic how being in one season make one yearn for a different season, despite how spectacular the current season is.

Ice-out and run-off can't come soon enough. Great images.

Here's a bit of Green from last June. Spring was in the air and this gentleman's thoughts had turned to...uh, other things.

Nice photos everyone! Yes, Paul, that corn lily stuff seems to be everywhere I go in the summer. It's also called false hellebore. Here's a link with more info (and a good page to help identify other flowers in S. Colo.) http://www.swcoloradowildflowers.com/White%20Enlarged%20Photo%20Pages/veratrum%20tenuipetalum.htm
