To cold and windy to go outside, so I was going through old shots and found this one. The wind on the grass gives it a soft look, but I like the sunset behind the grass. I used sepia to soften the glare of the sun. Let me know if this works or not.
C&C always welcome.

Works for me, Merle.

Hi Merle, I like the sepia tone choice and the subject matter has potential. I like the grasses as the main subject, were they set against a clean background (clouded sky) with the sun glowing behind.
With the prairie and tree line in the distance competing, your main subject loses some of its impact IMO. A lower camera position may have provided the separation needed and taken this to the next level. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comments. This is the shot before any adjustments. The grass is alongside the road in front of our property. I was hunkered down along the asphalt for the shot and was kept quite busy moving out of the way of the bubbas roaring by in their pick-ups. This was more a series of "play" shots to see how they came out. I love the concept of the grass against the sky - all I have to do is find the right time and place. Thanks again for the ideas. I appreciate it.
