I took this a couple of weeks ago on a short trip with the family... we all hopped rocks to get out to this point and had a lot of fun.
C&C appreciated - thanks.

Lots of water! I bet its clod. I've only been up there once, last fall. Somehow I think I'd like this place with less water. I guess I would like to see more of the rocks showing, or something to anchor the image. Exposure is good considering this isn't the easiest image to expose. ---I wish I had that ISO 50!

I understand what Jack is getting at, and a more structured arrangement of stones or rapids in the immediate FG would have been better, but the little falls in the BG holds my eye pretty well. I like this just fine.

Nice one Ned! Best shot that I think I've seen of Sunset Falls. It's a tough one to shoot. I'm not surprised that the master of moving water has posted a winner!
If I had to nit pick, I'd agree with Jack and Marc. There does seem to be an abundance of hot blur in the FG.

Beautiful. on my monitor the foreground is fine. A tiny bit more space above the falls might be nice.

Thanks for the feedback.. I had a white hot sky to deal with, so I left it all out and let the falls mimic the widest rapids in the front. The light behind me was pesky and kept that front section of the rapids in complete exposed daylight, so I had to shoot it as it...
I feel like I am standing in horribly cold water! Love how the riverbed rocks are visible in various places. And to me the falls in the ulc along with the blast of water swooshing out the lrc create an implied diagonal through the frame that makes this image easy to enjoy. , Ned!
Hey Shhmedly! I think the water control looks fine. The top seems a bit cramped though...
Like I told you on the phone today...I've found some great spots along the N Umpqua today that we HAVE to hit in the springtime!

having shot this myself many times, I feel that something is missing since you left the far left cascade out of this image....the water does look pretty good here!!!!
