Well...it all finally came in the mail today! I got my Sigma 150mm Macro, Manfrotto 190 XPROB with 322rc2 head and superclamp. I'm going to practice in my greenhouse tomorrow!
Thanks for all the help in picking this stuff out everyone!

You are going to have fun with that macro lens!
Don't get too discouraged with it at first. I'm sure you've read about how shallow DOF is near 1:1 but until you actually experience it, it is hard to truly understand. It is even worse if you are hand-holding but once you get used to it, your shots will look much different from your other work.
It's quite nice, build quality seems very good as well. The only thing that is a little odd is the finish, it feels like felt to the touch, probably wouldn't do well in wet weather, but neither would my Rebel XT, so it don't think it would affect my photography.
BUT if you do go out in the wet and expect a weatherproof setup, unless you use a cover for your lens or something like that I'd stay away from this type of finish.
I'm going to start playing around in my greenhouse right now, I'll let you all know how it goes.
Right where the legs come together at there are two little doodads that I am curious about. One looks like a hook and the other is a plastic ring-like structure. I'm sure that one of them is for hanging a weight from to lock the tripod down but what's the other for and which is for the weight?
Thanks everyone! I've been playing around with the shallow DOF when I'm at 1:1. It's not too bad, just have to realize that is what is going to happen when I'm super close up. I'll be playing for a while though I'm sure!
