Here is what the little stone springhouse in Boxley looked like today - it was bone dry yesterday. I love this little spot, and find it one of the most interesting water features in the state, and it is less than 100 feet off the highway.

Sorry to post two photos in one day, but 'tis waterfall season and we need to spread the good cheer! I stole my wife's identity in order to do so. Up until yesterday we realized she has been logging into this nature board the past year as Don Kurz (who was the last one to officially log in from her computer, last year, and I guess it just stuck).

Tim I remember this one from your slideshow. Looks like there's alot more water in it today. I love the rocks in the building.

Tim, that is a great shot, I have never seen it with that much water! How much snow is predicted in your neck of the woods?

Season's greetings, Pam! Thanks for sharing this neat image.

Snow, we are supposed to get snow? At first they said 4-8 inches, then dropped it back to 2-4 inches, and one local radio station (Harrison) is now saying nothing. I'm betting on nothing but we could just get a good dumping if everything happens just right. Then I will be in a terrible turmoil about where to go shoot - I'm trying to get into this new waterfall area to explore (which is an all-day trip), but there will be basically an unlimited supply of great waterfalls tomorrow to shoot - BUT the skies are supposed to clear by noon and that will KILL waterfall shooting Tim! I'm working on a new picture book and what I really need to do is seek out heavy winter snowscapes and be a good boy. My lovely bride asked me tonight "what my game plan was" for tomorrow - she knows better than to ask!

pam's hubby, with charred mexican marshmallow all over his face...
