Hey folks. Ya it's another one from Ridgefield NWR. This time a more serious image of a GBH instead of the previous "humorous" image.
So lemme know what ya think of this one!!

Beautiful bird Rick, from someone that is not much into birding. I wish I could see more of him (ie not having the grass in the way) but I am sure you did the best you could based on the situation.

I like it.....what's he looking for?

If anything, I wish there were less reeds merging w/ the birds head and bill. I like the hunting behavior you captured. A very natural looking image. I think Ridgefield is somewhere I'd like to visit sometime.
NIce to see a few bird images in this forum.

Nice shot, Rick. I like the pensive moment you have captured.
Now that is a bird with intent! Hope he caught the meal he was looking for. Looks and feels like that eye would suddenly pop of its head on a spring or something!
