Picked up road kill and put in field. Then you need luck. 1DMK2n 300 mm lens 2x conv. 1/800 sec F 5.6. All comments welcomed.

Nice capture John , very good thinking IMO , would never have thought to go down the road kill route.

Great shot!
Love the pose of the bird and the road pizza!
Would prefer a bit more space to the left and a slightly tighter crop on the right.

Hello John.

This one as paid of really well love the pose and the nice light with that touch of frost on the ground. Makes for a superb image. :wavey:

Hi John,

I've been lobbing out road kill in the fields of a farm that has upto 6 Buzzards in the summer, for the past two years, I have had no luck in one coming in. Excellent shot and hope I have one similiar in the next few weeks :wink:

Nice image of a buzzard. I thought about using road kill whilts trying to photograph the local red kites - Nice to see it works :smile:

Very nice shot, John - seems to work fine with the roadkill. Due to the lack of snow and cold my local Buzzards have not been willing to take on roadkills this year. :toast:
