A few more from the trip
Here's a couple more from the road trip, one from Dallas Divide, the other from Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. I'll leave it up to your imagination to figure out which is which.

Great idea with the petroglyphs, Todd. I really dig that one, I'm guessing its the one from Nevada  And what a surprise, a shot with dramatic clouds -- I guess they heard you were coming.....

I love that Petroglyph shot, Todd. Very creative!

Man, it looks like Valley of Fire is having the coldest winter ever! And where did you find those petroglyphs at the Dallas Divide?

Seriously, both are awesome but the petroglyph image is way cool. Nice work, dude!

Ditto on the petroglyphs - one of my favorite subjects to photograph. Sweet shot.

Todd...beautiful Dallas Divide shot.... I love the trees lined up against mountains behind the clouds!! Well seen... I am big fan of your photography and your books. And excellent control of light on the petroglyphs.... regards, Rajeev. :wavey:

I love the Dallas Divide shots. It really disappoints me that it is a 5 hour drive for me to get to this incredibly spectacular place and that I can't just get up in the morning and do a short drive to get to this place..... I love the San Juans soooo much, it truly is the closest thing this country has to offer to the Alps

The petroglyphs shot is killer, and despite the compression issues, the Dallas Divide shot is equally as nice in its own subtle way.

That's an ingenious take on the petroglyphs. Very nice. You're definitely flexing your "cloud man" muscles on the DD shot!

Yeah, I also like the petroglyph shot a lot. I wanted to try lightpainting them as soon as I saw Adam Schallau's photos last year.

Thanks for sharing.
