Bank Vole.
Canon 20D, Canon 100-400mm L I.S. @ 400mm, Kenko extension tube???,
1/500 sec @ f5.6, iso 400, Gitzo 1548/B1, Raw.
Neatimage, full width but cropped from top and bottom, levels, curves, hue/saturation.



Hi,

Went down to stock up my bird feeders this morning and counted four bank voles all scurrying about amongst the bracken.
Really enjoyable sitting and watching them, with them often being just 24" away.
Was hoping to photograph them today but rain stopped play so this one's from the archives, taken this time last year.
