Oryx in Desert Habitat
I was on my way to Sossusvlei and this lone male was walking towards a water hole. Amazing animals they dont drink for months at a time. Tend to feed at night as food has 60% higher water content. Their bodies retain so much moisture that when they urinate it is like treacle  In the evenings they go and stand on top of dunes to pick up the evening breezes. An hour after this photo was taken the thermometer on my backpack said 42'C

Very nice shot especially with the dune background, would have been nice if the Oryx was walking into rather than out-of the picture... but thats not gonna be easy to have any control of.
