We finally got some snow accumulation in Lexington. We've had several teasers, but nothing of note this year until today. In fact, I went out to shoot and the snow was still coming down quite a bit, and it was really windy. I managed a few shots here and there, but my goal destination, Raven Run, WAS CLOSED! I was really hoping for some snow rock and creek shots and some falls. With the snow and wing getting worse, I decided to do a little scouting for shots tomorrow. Haven't decided where to head quite yet, but I'll be out somewhere. Here's one from this morning. It is actually within easy walking distance from my house, but the creek bank is always really dirty because the creek runs right through Lexington. But a nice blanket of snow hides our not so nice impact on this area.
Gale, I'm glad you are around. I have a couple of panos from this morning for you. I know how you like panos. They never quite look their best online, but here goes.
Sorry to hear about Raven Run being closed...bummer. This is not too shabby, though. Nice reflection and some pristine snow. Glad to see you still got some good shots.
