I know that spring is just around the corner here but I thought you'd like to see what is going on in the Southwestern deserts. In particular, when you get to the website, click on the Arizona link. WOW!

Note quite in the same league, but a photog from Nat'l Geo, who is doing the story on the Ozark Highlands Trail, was by here today and said he spotted trout lilies blooming in the Spirits Creek area this morning, poking up through the melting snow - just east of White Rock. That means spring is on the way here too!

I never knew the desert could be so beautiful...definitely worth considering for a winter destination! Thanks for the link, Don.
