Shepaug Dam Bald Eagles

Good afternoon. I am looking for some input on this location. Has anyone gone here & if so how was it. I was suppose to go last Saturday, but they did not open because of snow.

This coming Wednesday is the last day that they will be open & I would like to try to make it there. Thank you.

Hello Rich,I"ve been to the Shepaug Dam several times and you will have much better luck going further north on the Housatonic River around Kent CT. near Bulls Bridge.I have seen and photographed as many as 12 eagles in that area at close range in one morning.

Excellent shot Scott. We don't see many eagles here in East Tennessee.

I'm going to be passing through Housatonic River area around Kent in early September and was wondering if the eagles are there at that time of year.
