Tim, this really nice, the snow in left side combined with hint of sun in the background really gives you many areas to explore in this shot. I like the pano effect also.
I just love the water color at this falls - I don't think I've ever seen it muddy. Looks like there was quite a bit of snow over there too. Nice shot, Tim.
Yup, that pool is always a nice emerald color, which is funny since so much of the drainage is pasture. I guess the times when the river is up really high and running muddy you can't hike in since the trail would be covered up! The back way in is a much longer hike.
I messed up and should have been here the day before since there would have been a lot more snow - someone did make it though and I bet got some terrific images.
Yup, that water did have an icy feel to it, but I'm not sure how nice that feeling was - by the time I had to cross it for the fourth time I could not feel either foot!
With all my trips to the King's River Falls area, I never made it over there when the light was good, but I always love your stuff from here.

King's River Falls was one of the places I thought about going to on Friday, but then I got to thinking about that one steep downhill stretch that ends at a T intersection, and I decided against it. I see this photo, though, and I think maybe it might have been worth the risk.
I caught the pool muddy once in late spring last year.
