I went climbing yesterday at North Table Mountain. Here are a few shots of my partner on a hard (5.11b) route. Comments/Critiques are welcome.

A nice set of images! i really like the B&W ones, esp the last one in your series. Also really like your image above, it gives a sense of how vertical and how hard the route is. Keep 'em coming!

Steve, we made that connection right away. Dan speaks highly your work (both geology and photos).

Cool stuff, Scott. I really like the "tired hands" image.

Nice!!

Very well done!

I'm curious if you've been there before later in the spring ? That place is a nice area to photograph a few Rattlers.

I like it Scott--gives me vertigo!

These are truly outstanding, Scott. I love the windblown hair while climbing the mountain where they study wind! You have a great knack for capturing the verticality of climbing, while photographing a range of subjects.

Nice work! :toast:

I know that since it would appear you were belaying the climber, you're limited to lower locations. And with that in consideration, these are some nice shots. The wide shots are especially nice.

But it would be nice to see some variety of shots from the side and other angles. There is some easy access to the top of NTM and with all of the routes over there, you could rappel down an adjacent route to get some cool shots.
