Long-eared Owl
Hi guys,

Nothing new here except young wild pigs that I shot this afternoon. Not quite happy about them because I had not much time to shoot. They cool down very fast without mommy so I shot and left. This owl is from some time ago. It's not easy to get them free from branches but I quite like this one.
iso 200 1/60 sec. F7.1 fill flash set to -1.7EV

All the best,

Edwin Kats

Hi Ed,

I remember when we where shooting these Owls...
What a great day that was! Too bad they have left after 6 years of staying there i did not see them this year..
I do have 2 new places to go for LEO's, so if you are up for it and i can find the time...we should have a look soon!

Great shot and hope 2 see you soon mate!

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

I'm not surprised that you like this one. He's cetainly got his eye on you too! Nothing wrong with birds being surrounded branches - works well here.
