Got some more Brown Hare shots today but felt it was time for a change.
My boxing Hare shots will keep.
Still an unbelievable amount of Barn Owls still on show in North Norfolk. Out at all times of the day and following no set pattern.

a lovely shot, what a beautiful bird. I like the unusual perch as well. I can't imagine regularly seeing barn owls, I've yet to even see one in the wild!

Think I may have to cross the border into Norfolk if this is what I can expect.
Very nice image of an owl on a very different type of perch.

Superb lighting and pose - I too have never seen a wild one. Norfolk is a bit far though

Another fantastic shot Major. Do you think these birds are wild-born and bred? or part of a captive release programme, only we have a fair few in this area now and the numbers are growing, but they never sem to be about until it is way to dark for photography.
I love the way that you always manage to get a different slant on your subjects even though you are posting a lot of the same species. keep them coming. Can't wait for the boxing hares, I know they will be great as well.

I love North Norfolk for it's Barn Owls and that's why I travel over as much as I can, yes it's a long trip and sometimes I come away without an image but I've never been without seeing a Barn Owl somewhere..

Excellent work Major..

Ouch, fancy sitting on that, provides a great dynamic diagonal for your superb pic though.
Very jealous, I want to live in Norfolk, despite what they say about the folk  .
