I'm not getting out as much as I would like at the moment, so this one is from last spring & was taken at Arundel. I struggled with the contrast on this because it was shot straight into the sun, but I liked the behaviour and the light shining through the red bill.

iso200 1/400 f/8
CS2 levels & usm processed twice and combined layers to get some colour back into the chocolate head and to reduce the hot whites a bit.

I love photographing these birds too. A good bit of behaviour you've caught here and despite the less than ideal light conditions it looks like you've got a decent result.
