Went out after work today, wanted to check on the wildflower progress.
This was taken on Yokohl Valley Road, lots of fiddleneck and popcorn with a few poppies here and there, some of the lupines were in full bloom too.

Looks like some great color and flowers out your way michael! It sure is nice to see. I was in sacramento a couple weeks agoa and the cherry trees were all in bloom as well as poppies along the 50. Down in Olancha there's little white and purple flowers coming up. I can't wait 'til april-june up here in bishop!

Very nice carpet of flowers Michael...
with the diagonal slope of the hill leading our eye
to rest at the oak... very nice composition...
The colorful hill vs. the still dark tree also adds contrast naturally.
Thanks for getting out there and for sharing! :toast:

in gratitude,
Nelcha

Very nice composition and what a display of wildflowers. Looks like a great year to be out. I'm getting real antsy...
