How about a spring Wildflowers thread?

It's getting time for the desert SW to start exploding with flowers. How about a thread for updates?

And anyone who lives out in Utah, Arizona...how about some updates? :biggrin:

As of now nothing is blooming around Moab. The cottonwoods aren't even budding out yet. Stay tuned...

I've seen Moab or at least the higher mesas blooming around the early May timeframe in the past. Hopefully that will be the case again this year as I'll be there at that time. I do remember seeing lilacs in bloom in Moab earlier than Colorado though.

We usually have some wildflowers blooming in early April through June in the desert.

No wildflowers blooming down here in southern New Mexico yet. It won't be long though.
