I don't think I've ever seen so much white in my life.

Great shot Randy! The snow was really like flocked christmas trees in spots.

A waterfall winter wonderland! You've captured what I'm sure is a fairly rare occurance in Arkansas very nicely indeed Randy!

This is such a beautiful scene, Randy. Nicely composed, and I love the silky flow in the water. Great shot!

Great shot and I like the brown tonality of the trees just to the right of center. It adds a soft touch to the shot. :toast:

I am new to photography and just got a canon XTI, I was wondering how to make the waterfall pictures look like that? Thanks.

Hi Brandon. I'm going to guess that you mean how to make the water look smooth and silky like that. The answer is to get a tripod and use the manual mode of your camera to set the shutter speed to, say, at least a quarter second or so, depending on the volume of the flow. For that and other reasons, you'll need to do this on a cloudy day, or very early or very late in the day so that the sun isn't shining directly on your scene.

Sorry I didn't answer earlier, but I didn't notice your post until tonight.
