Hi,
This is an image from last summer, taken on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. I was walking up the side of this hill towards the ruins of an old fort when a gap in the clouds flooded the immediate foreground in sunlight. I rushed to get my view camera up and managed this one frame before the clouds closed up again. The winds were very strong so I kept the camera as low to the ground as possible.
Cheers,
Tom.

Ebony RSW45, can't remember which lens, Provia.

I'm no landscaper Tom so I might be talking a load of old cobblers but I'd crop away at the bottom until I had some symetry - same amount of FG as BG and sky, plus you'ld get rid of that little blob in the bottom center of the frame - bit like this

If you don't like it just tell me to take it down

Hi Tom,

Since I sold my Ebony I'm occasionally reminded of those days - this is one of them!. I sold it because I thought I'd never use it again - how wrong was I?

An absolutely fabulous camera - don't sell it! If you do let me know!

This is a lovely shot! Surprised you could set-up so quickly (knowing this body and lens(es)! Now I have to say the crop by Andy really improves this composition! The first has far too much foreground! You were there and captured a magnificent landscape that brings back so many memories for me!

Excellent Tom. Good lighting and perfect proportions.

I like the contrast between the sunlit grass and the brooding blue clouds. I think Andy`s repost balances the composition a little better to my eyes.
