I look foward to learning somthing new. I have lived all my life in PDX Oregon. I have hung out at DPReview for a couple of years and get tired of the, well lets say stuff that goes with a hugh internet base. Roman Johnson suggested this site as he too is fed up with my equipment is better then yours stuff. I look forword to participating in this forum...

Hello Christopher, welcome aboard. Like you and Roman, I used to frequent the other forums like DPReview and Photosig, but also got tired of all the drama. I think you will really enjoy this forum. You will find high caliber photographers and civil, helpful people willing to impart knowledge and support. I've been quite happy with my choice to join recently.
Welcome Christopher!! For sure I think you will find us to be a much more accepting group of people with a common interest in capturing compelling images using whatever ya have gear-wise. The constructive/helpful criticism you will get here is WONDERFUL!!

Welcome, Christopher. It's certainly been a pleasure for me to find NPN about 18 months ago. So many people have contributed to my learning more about photography. I've been shooting a fairly long time, but still learning! It's been fun to meet other photogs from across the country and around the world and right here in the great PNW. This is a wonderful community with high standards for being considerate of each other. I hope you will find it so and enjoy being here.
