Nice comp Paul :toast:

Only nits - looks a tad over sharpened and the BG is a bit too busy - that's all IMHO for what that's worth

I'd go along with Andy on that. Love the backdrop and composition.

Hi Paul,

Lovely capture - cracking pose and perch! I think it's a tad over sharpened but can live with the background!

Hi Paul,

Great composition and pose!
Could go a little tighter and less on the sharpening.

When Edwin and i use a hide we often get a piece of Camouflage-net wich we use to hang up behind our set-up in order to crete smooth BG's. (or we choose a smooth BG..)

Good luck with your new place!

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Like the bird.pose and perch but I too find the background a little distracting.

Hi Paul IMO the Bird is great and I like the Perch but for me the BG. is a bit distracting. :toast:

I like the pose of your bird very much, but the composition looks a bit unbalanced to me, as all the action is on the righhand side of the frame. Don't mind the bg.

Great stance, really nice shot. I think it would definitely benefit from a crop.

Hi Paul

It's great when you find a spot you can develop and get more images, I would prefer a slightly tighter crop but I don't mind it as is.

nice image. :toast:
