I just live in the wrong part of CT. All I see is starlings, blackbirds, bluejays, etc. Real clear shot of the owl. Nicely done.

Pat -- I have heard barred owls in my backyard a few times and I have even seen owl pellets underneath the bird feeders (I assume that he hunts the mice/voles that probably eat the fallen bird food) but I have never been lucky enough to see him. I have seen them elsewhere and even called some in.
I haven't had the joy of seeing any owls around here in Rhode Island during the day, only at night while snow shoeing they've flown right in front of me.
