As usual the wildlife was on the move as the sun rose this chilly morning. I saw these two geese take off down the lake and focused on where I thought they would fly. And, I got lucky.

Very nice catch! Your patience paid off. A little more contrast might help the image, though. As presented, the white point and black point fall well short of their limits and a little LCE could go a long way!

Beautiful warm reflection off the water, Rod, along with a great composition. I think Tim's suggestion might be worth taking a look at, but I wouldn't overdo it. The softness of the light adds a mood that is very nice.

Beautiful image, Rod. Love the fog and the orange reflections. The first time I viewed this, I was in a brightly lit room, and the image was a bit dark. But it looks nice now that I'm looking at it again in a totally dark room.

Rod, nice catch with the geese flying through the frame and the ducks swimming the opposite direction. I like the softness overall, gives a nice mood. I wasn't sure about the upper third but the more I look at this the more I like the extra detail that's provided by the trees shown there. Nice work. (p.s. you can post up to 720 pixels on the longest side).

Thanks for the comments guys.
Tim I did apply some LCE and it helped the image. Plus a little more contrast. I like it.

Dare I say, yes you got lucky in capturing the action just right. Well done. I love it.
