Pantanal: Hyacinth Macaw checking out holes in trees
The Blue Macaws are just incredible birds when wild and free, great flyers too.
During my timy in the Pantanal I did not have brilliant light as most of the time the sun was obscured by the smoke of many fires burning everywhere.
Hope this time the colours, and sharpness and light is better.
Have calibrated the montitor again and turned down the brigthness.
Your help is of great value, amazing how one struggles with a change of monitor and how used you get to the old trusted one, which I have now sold!

they're stunning looking birds and I like the way this one is sitting in the hole. A nice shot.

A really fine shot and I love the way the colourful bird stands out so well from it's neutral coloured surroundings. :toast:

Never seen 5 grand shoved in a tree hole before Paula

Very nice enviro image - must have been a joy to be there :toast: :toast:

Image looks fine colour and luma wise - if you are on an LCD set your luminance nearer 110 than 120 next time you calibrate.
