Coot Detail
Trying to get something different with a common subject i spent yesterday with some coots at Lake Geneva, I do have some images without the rock in the bottom RH corner but the birds head is lower and not so 'balanced' Not sure if its distracting or not, Guess i could clone it if needed,Image full frame

a very nice image and certainly a different kind of coot image to those we normally see. Great detail and exposure. I would be tempted to clone out the rock, I think the image would work better.

I like it, and I think the image needs the rock to give context to where the bird is standing, great detail in both the blacks and whites. Very nice!

Hi Dave certainly different with great detail in the blacks and white of the Coot. The rock does not bother me.

Regarding the rock is all a matter of personal taste, but like the image based on it is differnt to what we normally get to see. Good detail. :toast:

Looks good to me and a different image with well handled exposure... keep the rock it gives the image an anchor.
