White Mountains, California, October 2004
I haven't made new pictures in several months. Work and other activities have taken priority. I have, however, been spending some time working on prints. Being able to post-process images on a personal computer and make digital prints right at home is a luxury and I am so thankful for this technology because it enables me to keep in touch with photography on a nearly daily bais.
Here is the latest photograph I am working on. The exposure was made on a cold October evening in 2004, high up in California's White Mountains. The low light available just after the sun had set provided suitable illumination and also allowed me to pick a wider aperture to keep (only) selective portions of the scene in focus.
Pentax 67ii, 45mm, Fuji Velvia 100F
Thanks for any thoughts you have to share on this photograph. As always, they are most appreciated.
Even though I have nothing bad to say about the photo, it is not the work you made that moves me the most. Maybe I should shut up instead of speaking to just say that, but I did.
